Virtual Machines for eBay Stealth Accounts
 

How many Virtual Machines (VM) do you guys run at the same time with your Stealth accounts? I was going to run a maximum of 4 - 6 machines but I'd like to hear your opinion. I was going to install them all with Windows 7 Pro and then clone each one of them. Are Virtual Machines unique from each other if I tend to clone them or do I need to create a new separate VM each time to make sure nothing is the same from one another?

I run around 40. No chance of linking, they are sending different info to ebay. Just be sure to use different browsers and ips for each of them.

How can I assign different IP addresses if they will also be using the same Public IP address from my router? Do you make sure of a VPN or perhaps know of a similar service? I'd like to hear some info on how to get around this.

As many as I need.

Sure, it seems reasonable.

As long as your Computer has enough resources, you can run as many as you need too.

You can do either or, you can make a fresh machine or clone from a Master Copy.

You need to access the internet carefully, by switching your 3G dongle every time you use another VM.

My setup is more professional - i rented an entire range of static IP addresses, and use them one by one, as needed, just by typing them into each new VM.

That sounds like a really great set up where did you get the static IP addresses? I would assume this address does not change making things easier to avoid on ebay.

If you are using internet through a cable or dsl company, you can purchase stactic IP addresses directly from them. Certain VPN companies can also rent them to you.

for 20 accounts, how large hard drive needed?

ok to run all virtual machines on a windows 10 pc, right?


can i buy 1 win7 disk, and use it to install MANY users?

Unless you are gonna run all 20 at the same time you only need good enough to run 1 at a time and just switch in between the 20s

Depending on the Operating System you are going with, will determine how much HDD space is going be required for each VMWare.

This is just an example:
Windows 7 I give the VMWare 15GB - 20GB of storage
Windows XP I give the VMWare 10GB of storage
Linux - I give the VMWare 15GB of storage

Yes, it's possible...as long as you have enough RAM, HDD storage, Fast CPU.

Yes it is possible, but I would recommend using different OS's to mix it up.

I may be considering going this route because I have so many accounts and not wanting ebay to become suspicious, I actually have so many laptops at home so that there may be no linkage if any through hardware specs. Which is the best to use VMware or virtualbox? What would each machine shows in terms of hardware specs etc to ebay?
