company giving out ⊗⊗⊗⊗ veros!!
 

Hi Guys.
Hope all are good.
Was wondering if any of you could help me out with some advice.
I just received a second vero , two in almost two weeks. On separate accounts.
These veros are for un copyrighted drawings of elements from a game.
The vero has come from a shop in Blackpool , looked it up on google maps and it’s a little shop and clearly selling vero / counterfeit goods from the pictures on google maps.
This company do no own the rights to these images , one of witch I have been selling for three years.
The vero is coming from a shop that has an ebay account , I have found out another ebay shop that has the same images and is clearly selling the stuff that im getting veroed for.

I have tried to call and no answer on phone . Going to send an email.

This is really ****y behavior , I would never set out to hurt someone’s income .
They are clearly making ⊗⊗⊗⊗ verso and hitting competition people with them.

Im going to send them an email and if they don’t sort it out im going straight to trading standards with photographic proof of them selling counterfit goods from there shop. Going to vero there other ebay shop hard , play there game. And also might take a little trip down to the shop one day with the lads.

Any advice on how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.

Just cheated with Ebay , and it's very straight forward to set up a vero . So looks like I will be veroing all of his listings ! It's a shame but if that's the way he wants to play

Just found two more of this guys stealth accounts , one with over 1500 positive feedback and the other with 3500 positive . He messed up big time !:)

Hmmm, I wonder if my takedowns have been through ph*ke vero. But keep in mind, that my stuff is from a big company, let's say XXXX company. When my stuff was taken down, the message tells me that if I feel it has been an error, please contact report_counterf****@xxxx.com

By the way, how do you know that shop is selling counterfeit goods from looking it up in google images?

On google street maps , you can see his shop with all his ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stuff on display .

ANYONE can register with ebay and VERO titles, descriptions, images.. Not just manufacturers.

It is NOT ⊗⊗⊗⊗ just smart and risky.

every big business does it. It is not ****ty, they are just much better than you are. Learn to compete and better yourself will most likely get you much farther ahead in life than being a jealous parasite.

It is business. No big business does not protect titles, pictures and descriptions. That is why ebay has these options. It is smart, normal, ethical and legal.

People like yourself who are jealous of businesses with better skills attack me hundreds of times a day. Pathetic. They need to educate themselves and up their game because everything else they do, especially the things you are saying such as "Taking them down" is an utter waste of someones time and Karma definitely gets them.....

How can someone who is NOT the rights holder get a listing taken down. Wouldn't EBAY tell them to take a hike?

If the seller is a big seller and making eb lots of money, then eb are less likely to do anything until the actual rights owner contacts them with proof etc.

Its a messed up world we live in but if you check it out, all of the governments and big boys & girls out there are doing that kind of thing and get away with it no probs...... loopholes and technical stuff and all that jazz :(

Sometime when people ask what do I do, I tell them I do what the government does :) If you cant beat them, join them :)

ANYONE can VERO titles, pictures and descriptions. You dont have to own anything. That is why ebay has these options. Several loopholes to jump through but no one is going to copy my listings, pictures and descriptions. Lazy people do not get rewarded for other peoples hard efforts and skills.

he has real-world shops that you found? are you sure (not shore!) they are definately his? well, then he is not as clever as he thinks.....a bit of real-world trouble is on the cards for him then, as you said.....be an indignant member of the public, who wants action from trading standards and follow it up.....

OP seemed to say, the reporter is just a competitor, did not own the product, OP did not steal pics, but has his own pics... so we have to take OPs word for it.......

The reporter may have been successful in submitting vero for this stuff, and there is no point whining about that....those who know the game, get the sweeties...

but it is understandable that OP is upset about it, if the reporter does not own the product and has succeeded in submitting vero......

Yankee , just say you had a mug made that had the text " Yankee is a douch " and you where selling it . Then someone like yourself thinks I really like that design it's got a good message on it and they veroed it . So you get a vero and listing removed because a snakey low life has veroed it ?

YOU can get rights on ebay to YOUR images, titles and pictures. Ebay has a program in VERO for it.

You make some BIG and BOLD accusations about me. I OWN my brands. I manufacture my goods first of all. Like I said you do not know me. Second of all, I do register my pictures, titles and descriptions and SO SHOULD YOU! It is against ebay policy to copy someones pictures, titles and descriptions and is enforced if you register them. It is just good business. Target, bestbuy, underarmour etc.... all do this even on goods they do not own the brand for.

You should do it yourself if you sell some volume. It is FREE!! and it is ebay's policy!

IF the item was not generic(guessing based on your messages) you could contact the manufacturer because you are assumed permission in this ebay program from the OEM right owner.

All I do is have listings removed that infringe upon my rights using ebay program and the law.

I have been watching borat and I think Yankee is quite a lot like borat .
But if we where to be in a film I think I would be the Indiana Jones kind of guy and Yankee would be the evil super villain nazi . A very slimey and sneaky Jim Cary from dumb and dumber kind of idiot keeper.
He would be out robbing from the poor and being a nuisance , veroing honest working people and he realy being a prick.

Yankee's really not that bad of a guy, from what I can tell. Sounds like he's just protecting what he's worked for. I get super-pissed when other sellers rip off my listings, because they're taking sales which otherwise would have gone to me. Plain and simple. What's wrong with that?
