I don't see why not.....if your tech savvy you could try to downgrade to Win 7 but sometimes it doesn't workout as planned. I say go for it, 10 user accounts should be just fine.

You can always do your own fresh install of windows 7 on a new hardrive.
I rarely run into any issues even if I do not have all the specific Win7 drivers for the laptop Im using.

I have been using win 10 since it first came out and have had no probs.
Personally, I find it quicker.

You can have a whole bunch of user accounts with each having its own vpn ip. The problem you run across is needing to do a task on multiple accounts simultaneously. I'd recommend at least 2-3 PCs or laptops. All of them can have the same accounts or VMs on them set up the same way. You can use a free cloud service to move info between the computers. This way if account 1 has questions to be answered, you're packing and shipping on account 2, listing stuff on account 4, you can basically do that at the same time without switching accounts and IPs on one PC.

You can get reliable Windows 7 laptops all the time inexpensively. Im in the computer business and I see them on a daily basis. Try Craigslist, eBay lol of course, your newspaper, garage sales, yard sales, recycling businesses, neighbors, schools getting rid of them at the end of the semester or year, etc.

I had about 30 (maybe 50) and found it quick to switch users on windows 10 as opposed to win 7/8.

I have since changed from having multiply windows user accounts to using portable browsers so you dont have to keep logging in an out of user accounts, you can stay on same desktop. Saves soooooo much time = increased productivity :)

If you want to go down the portable browser route, it is easy and fast to setup.

I would honestly advise though, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Maybe do half your accounts as user accounts, and half as portable browsers. Reason I say this is - portable browsers if not used properly can link your accounts.

I have never tried the virtual machine thing so I cant answer your question.

When I was using windows separate user accounts setup, I found it took too long to log in and out of each windows user account.

I highly recommend portable firefox setup for daily ease of use.
For me, I only spend about a total of 3 minutes (includes changing ip & logging ip) on each account with the firefox portable setup, so its fast and more productive.

ebay is definitely one of the best places. I bought myself a variety of new to refurbished ti used laptops with different OS versions to operate all my accounts so even hardware wise, ebay won't see a link there

If you're on Amazon it is better to use VM. For eBay, you can use either Firefox portables or user accounts. A member in this forum swears that you can use Firefox portables with Amazon accounts though. I have been linked with user accounts, Amazon that is. That's why I'd rather use VM for Amazon.

Get one decent computer, slice it into dozens of VMware virtual machines. Problem solved.
