Using KPROXY to Hide IP address for eBay stealth
 

This may have already been asked by I can't find the answer to my question so I hope you can help. I have bought a new stealth account and am yet to open it up. Will using a proxy such a kproxy be successful with my stealth account? as I know IP address is one of the things they pick up on.

Do this:
1. Log into your Proxy using a random browser
2. Go to www.whoer.net

If the site marks your IP as a Proxy then it won't be good at all. The problem is that a lot of Proxy sites have been blacklisted and can sometimes be easily detected by Ebay/PP.

It would depend on the IP address you end up having as your public IP

Chances are kproxy would be pretty overused like most proxies will be no good

Alos, a good rule of thumb when it comes to proxies - if it is a free service, absolutely do not use it.
You get what you pay for, so spend a little money on a proxy to ensure your ebay investment doesnt get suspended.

After looking at this kproxy site....I would not recommend using it.

Welcome to the forums walterrosenwald - work with good IP not these proxy services with the potential to have been used and abused before.

Do I definitely need a new IP address. On my other Ebay account I have been suspended from selling but my account is still there. I only need this account to sell for a week or so in the run up to xmas so it doesn't have to last for very long. But i'm hoping to get this account selling ASAP

Why would you want to look for potentially-dangerous shortcuts? Fresh IP is so easy to get - are you in the US?

No i'm UK. I just don't really see the point in paying £40 for new IP on places like 24vc if I'm only using this short term. Do you know how dangerous it would be to open the new account with the same IP?

use the thetering function on your mobile phone to use it as wifi hotspot, you will have a new ip, each time you turn it on/off. This is the way to go from £ 40 to £ 0 ... except if you send me £10 for the tip :)

I tried accessing ebay trhough Kproxy prior but was denied access, how did you do it?

That would make eBay / PayPals job linking you very easy.

Its really not a good idea to do that

Just an update- I've been selling fine on this new account this week with no new IP with no issue so far. Fingers crossed
