Seller limit increase problem please help
 

Guys I called ebay today and asked if they can increase my seller limit , it's currently at 5/500 .

They told me that the address given was not matching with the name of the address they had on their usps database. I was like wtf?

I gave them my stealth address and variant name i used to create my stealth account.

What do I do? they said they'll have it so someone can take a look and if it gets approved that they would increase my limits.

I have a bad feeling... help guys!

If you have used a stealth address and then a made up address that would make sense

If you hit the selling limits on the account then you will get an increase after a few weeks / month usually

Do you think I should be ok? even though they said they would have someone look at it to approve the increase?

Would you suggest to just wait until they give me a raise in the limits?

They indefinitely suspended my account. Damn... time to move on I guess?

this is what they wrote :

"After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.
- Item listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.

You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file."

holy ****, first time I hear about eBay cross-matching names to USPS data base... I've always used aliases and random address with out any problems.

That is unfortunately one risk associated with phoning into eBay sometimes.

What you can do is learn from it and adjust so that you don't make the same mistakes again :thumb:

I've used PO Box address for a long time on a really high volume account, phoned in to eBay many times with out any issues
