Using the same dongle with new stealth account?
 

Ok so I used a '3' dongle for my internet for my stealth account. If my stealth account gets taken down (wasn't taken down due to them linking me) do I need to get a new dongle or can I use the same one when setting up a new stealth account? The problem is I never took down my IP address when using it.

If you want to be totally safe then you new a new ISP

A new dongle with THREE would still give you the same IP range.

It is also well worth tracking your IP address in the future

O2 have a good ip range but they are expensive.

Regarding your original three dongle.......
......do a test and log ips.
Turn on and of/unplug and when you reconnect you should have a new ip address.
Make a note of it.
Repeat the turn dongle on and off thing and check the ip address.
Hopefully it has changed.
If it has, dont get too excited yet.
Repeat the turn dongle on off thing a good few times and make note of the ip addresses and if they are all different, you should be fine with your original three dongle setup, so no need to go out and buy anything.

Keep logs from now on of your ip addresses.

If they are, you dont need to buy anything.

It depends, most dongle will be able to do it. If yours consistently generates new ip addresses everytime you connect, it should be safe. plus ebay doesn't usually link your accounts based on a single IP factor, the ebay registration details if differ between accounts, should make them think you are likely not the same person e.g. people logging into ebay through public computers like the libarary

I just tested out my dongle by taking it out and putting it back in 6 times and each time it gave me a different IP address, do you think this means I don't need to get another dongle then?

Yes - you are good to go. Keep track of your IPs to avoid crosslinking as well
