Default Buyer insisting on a local pick up.

I have a buyer insisting on local pick up and paying in cash - i don't want to do it if if my stealth was registered to where I live. I told him I don;t want people I don;t know coming to my house. I have late rate shipping and he won 2 items. I am not sure what to do at this point as he is going to be asking more questions.
I offered him a refund. I don't want to to a prick about it but He is pressing me on it. I know if pays with paypal I don't have tracking number I he can screw me on that too.

You just tell him you don't offer local pickup, and that's that.

Tell him you can either ship him his order as your listing said you would do, or you can cancel the order(s) for him. Don't be rude about it but kindly explain you've opted out of offering local pickup on your listings. Say something like "due to the high volume of orders we process we are not able to deal with our buyers in person."

The rules of Ebay don't say you're required to offer local pickup, so you don't have anything to worry about here.

Customer can insist till they pass out....if you don't offer local pick up...the customer needs to accept it. I had a guy try the same, turns out the guy was a scammer.

as long as they pay cash whats the big deal? meet him somewhere outside your home depending on what the item is, it shouldn't be a big deal.

You can try and say you've moved but the location still shows where you're at. Sorry, cancel the order or send?

Meet at a Tim Horton's or - better yet - near a police station

No it's NOT a big deal EXCEPT that my stealth account and item location shows LA and I am in San Francisco with my items

Because if the buyer files a "did not receive item" claim, you are screwed

Just tell the buyer you're temporarily out of town visiting relatives. Or cancel the order.

You're going to want to do something because it seems like this order has been pending for at least 48 hours now...

do not do local pickup its risky anyways. If the buyer is pushy i would just cancel too i have noticed those buyers are more likely to leave bad feedback or scam .

I wouldn't do it.

Once the transaction is completed, the customer can file a claim that they did not receive the item. And if you give it to them locally, you have ZERO proof that you did indeed give them the item.

I would just refuse it and insist that you ship to give yourself safety. Offer him free shipping if it isn't too expensive, and explain to him the situation.

If he doesn't understand, he is likely a scammer or was going to try something shady on you.
