I would say go ahead and try it out. You never know how good something will be until you give it a go and see how you do.

And what do you plan to do when someone opens a dispute?

Services are a good money making opportunity - if the service has demand.

So you don't get caught up with ebay's terms, make sure you post something out (preferably with tracking) - so it seems your not selling virtual services which ebay don't seem to be a fan of, at all.

From my experience, services only work if the service is such a bargain, that the people value you being there for them next time they need you rather than doing a chargeback (which you will loose) and getting their money back. If you can afford the random scammer, then I'd say it's worth a go. Just don't fight them, you will loose the dispute and then you risk bad fb once things escalate.

Yeah like Play said, make sure and ship something as well so you can upload a tracking number. This way eBay won't get as mad at you. Hehe.

I personally don't think that selling Services on a 0 feedback account is a good idea. If it were me, I would try to gain some feedback before doing such activities.

Selling services / electronically delivered items (even with 0 feedback accounts) has worked fine for me for years. Just ensure you post something out with tracking and attach that tracking number to ebay and paypal transaction (both).

Just burn it onto a DVD and post it out to the customer in addition to emailing them the service etc.

What you want to do is imly to ebay and paypal that this is a physical item - that's all they care about.

I dont think your getting the gist. If you want to successfully sell virtual items on ebay and paypal, a physical item HAS to be sent out as well.

LOL, This is exactly why I don't think it will work for the OP, and why I think they should get some feedback before going the route they want to go with.

You can send them a card thanking them if you need, if the money is good then a first class card wont be much overhead cost.
