Smart phone purchase?
 

Hi.
New to forum, and as my user name suggests (even though it's spelt wrong lol) I am a dinosaur when it comes to modern Tech.:rolleyes:

Anyway...I purchased a Samsung Galaxy On5 from ebay, but stupidly didn't realize it was from China.
I bought it in Agust last (2016), and it was fine until a month ago when it started freezing, and switching off.
I tried the usual reboot's etc, but no use, and I tried Mobile phone shops, but no help as is China made..:tears:
I also sent an email to yhr suppliers a few weeks ago, but no reply.
I'm not a wealthy man, so £90 is quite a lot for me to pay.
I'm not sure what to do next.
Can anyone enlighten me please?:help:

You have 6 months protection on paypal.

Contact the seller, if they don't respond, you can open a case in paypal. You will need to pay return fees which qill be quite hefty to China.

It may be best to sell the phone on as faulty and put it down to experience.

Welcome to the forums dinasaurbob - did you pay via paypal? Did you use your own credit card?

If you used a credit card, you should be covered as they protect from purchases like that.

The credit card will refund all your money without any cost to yourself.
