How many ebay accounts are you currently using to sell?
 

I am curious because I want to use like 10-20 at once lol.

I think the poll is a good idea, as I am also interested in seeing how many accounts others use. Plus not many replied to the other thread. It just get's confusing with lots of threads with the same thing. But I'll deal with it. lol :lol:

I actually asked this before I haven't been back to check it out yet but I currently actively sell on 4 accounts. My other thread was to see how people keep organized when you sell on mutiple accounts. I have found that I have my auctions on different accounts end on different days. For example, acct A has 5 auctions ends on M, acct B with 10 auctions ending T, Acct C ending Wed, and so on. SO basically you work with one account a day and ship items from that one account that day.

But all that goes out the window with BUY IT NOWs ending at who knows when.

I am using 5 different accounts at this time.

I myself am using 4 right now, more soon.

no, I tend to rotate them about 3 a week, depends on any alerts etc as to how many have to sit it out, you know the drill...

I wish I had 24 accounts lol but hopefully I wont be so lazy and make more then I am now.

I try and sell different things on different accounts, like hoodies on 1 account and jeans on another, and t shirts on another etc. Though sometimes i just list w/e lol

I am currently using 7 diffrent accounts . . . I try to sell diffrent stuff on each one to throw them off a bit . . . . it also helps with branding issues . . . I am looking for sellers to help build the ebay killer . . . I think if we all used the power of the skills we have learned on the aspkin form together with the large customer base we have in all of our accounts (old and new) we can do it . . . I hate using this stealth way of selling - the last account they closed on me, I processed $700 in sales after the fact due to my REPEAT customers emailing me saying . . . what happend? I wanted that . . . they know and trust me and that why they still had faith in paying (via google checkout) but after you start a fresh account your auction dont go as high and people are less likely to buy from a zero or under 100 feedback seller . . . I actively sell on 4 accounts at the moment I also have another 5 which i am building feedback on and im going to create another 5 accounts tomorrow.
I'm trying to make my self nice and future proof.

I'm flat out selling on 5 accounts and im selling nik naks on another 3 accounts building up feedback for the future for when 1 of the 5 go down, Which could be any minute, lol

I only 2 right now. But, am working on 2 more. I hadn't planned on doing anymore until the fall. But, my daughter wrecked my car. So, I have a "I Need A New Car" ebay account.

I never use more than 15 to sell at once. But I have around 40 items listed on each. That keeps me more than busy all day, every day, especially answering stupid questions from potential buyers. As for backup accounts, right now I have 86.

86 backups! lol...Does that include 86 diff paypal accounts, 86 phone numbers, email accs, etc?

I got 150 sleeper accounts in hibernation right now building up time. I just sell on one account at a time with 800 items listed. Be careful with multiple accounts guys and don't get suspended ones linked.

I have 5 accounts but i only use 2 of them right now cause the items i sell average $100 a piece and i sell about 30 items a week.

I will be getting more goods soon and I will have to use the other accounts to spread my sales around them to stay "small"

I plan on selling 100 items a week during the middle of may so I may need more than 5 accounts... :ranger: :spy:

How many ebay accounts to the one Paypal account.
 

You would think that the more ebay accounts you had attached to the one Paypal account would put you at higher risk of suspensions/blockings etc however this does not seem to be the case .

Having multiple accounts lets you 'cool off ' hot accounts and continue selling your products.

You would think eBay would wise up to this , but then again they are idiots!:bounce:

Is it safe for me to switch between multiple ebay accounts on the same IP address before any of my accounts are suspended / blocked ?

Do ebay have a system in place to store IP history's then use them at a future date to link accounts to a newly blocked account ?

You would think that it is only necessary to renew you IP address only when switching between a blocked and an unblocked account (and visa versa).

yes they have systems in place but some people havent been caught/limited yet, but too risky - not advised.

Its necessary to change your ip between all accounts so when one goes down - then there is no link to affect the other accounts.

In the last Three weeks i have set up about 5 accounts , not bothering to change my IP address because all accounts are legit.

People have dead set rules , for example .... never use a Paypal account that has been linked to an old blocked ebay account however i have never had any problems doing this....

I hope i am just as lucky with the IP linkage !

It has been said that it takes more then just an ip to link you, people use the same ip all the time, so it's very likely someone uses someone else's ip that has been banned on ebay.

yeah its not just the ip, its a combination of factors and then if you meet them factors from other suspended accounts then they link you to that account as well. but remember its a computer you beating so be creative.
