Cannot post listings on US/CA sites
I am in a bad situation with eBay, hope you guys have heard of this issue and can help me out.
My account is like 15 years old - only the last 6 months I have been actively listing and selling.
It was switched from the US to HK about 6 years ago because of relocation.
So in the last 6 months, I have avg of 500 transactions a month. All the sudden, I was banned from listing on CA/US sites. Upon calling ebay, they told me i have had too many complaints. I think the complain ratio is not bad, but they won't give me the exact number. of course I often run into buyers who want freebies or extra by claiming item was broker at arrival or we picked the wrong items. I satisfy them by sending them replacement and refund (to please them and eBay).
Now I cant list, I have heard there's a different threshold of complain/transaction ratio just because my account is based in HK.
I have moved my account back to a US address with US iP, but that's not releasing the listing ban.
Can someone please help? thank you.
** I am also on the phone w Ebay right now, speaking to the 4th rep and they all didn't know what this is about...
The ban says
" It looks like there's a problem with this listing.
You are no longer eligible to post listings on the US/CA sites. You may continue listing on the other eBay sites.
Once you've built a history of providing a good experience to eBay buyers, you may be able to sell internationally." |
