Question about opening bank accounts
 

Hello Everyone!

My question is, when opening bank accounts for stealth accounts...
How many is too many to open per month? How many per each bank and how many different banks should i open per month?

Im looking to start building my back up reserve stealth accounts and I'm not sure how fast is TOO fast to open the bank accounts for the accounts.

If i have a checking with a bank, does opening multiple savings under that account fall under a "new" account or is that fine to open those because its under a checking account?

I can't tell you how many is too many or how slow or fast you should move. But, to answer your question about actual bank accounts.. Yes you can use your multiple savings accounts to open new stealths.

When I open a new savings, with the same back (that i already have an account with), does each of the new savings accounts count as a "new" account to the banking world?

Yes - and make sure they are deposit-enabled a.k.a "direct deposit"

Great note. Some savings accounts are pretty strict on withdrawals too so keep that in mind.

Why don't you ring the bank and ask how many different accounts you can have?

If they ask what for, say it is for each summer vacation you'll have.
