Selling in another country?

What if I want to sell in ebay poland? Can I list more auctions then in the US and not get Verod? I am selling designer clothes, thanks.

Also, quick question about paypal. They have a new policy where they can check your credit score. Would it be better to not add the CC then if I dont mind the $500 limit?

I would suggest you to use paypal without credit score.. But when it comes to poland how you plan to ship the product..
International sales are possible hre but we must be careful because shipping charges eat directly in to our profit

you charge the customer customer the shipping
i used to get alot of buisness on ebay germany when i used to sell vero items
and vero don't give you that much crap as ebay.com and ebay uk on ebay.de

I sold many items to other countries from ebay us, so its not a problem, I just charge the buyer more. But hey that's good to know that they are less strict on other sites.

^^^Don't take that as gospel. You can sell in other countries but there can still be problems. You have to be aware that several countries, France & Italy have a terrible record for delivery of items, custom duties can be high and the chance of internet fraud is high as well.
If you consider selling on other ebay sites I would really really recommend you be fluent in the language of the country you list in AND know much about their Custom policies:peace:

Maybe stupid question, but how do you pick up Poland or Croatia or any other European country and sell from US? I thought if I check the countries I ship to, Ebay would automatically have my auctions visible on their Ebay websites. If i ship International I check Europe, but I am not sure what 'Europe' is to Ebay, and what countries...Only members of EU or ALL of the Europe? Am I correct? I am still not sure...

oompaloompa 04-09-2009 04:43 AM

thats right you can only pick groups of countries unless you actually log on to the eg poland site and list, think you need over 10 feedback to do so and be paypal verified, at leat that is UK rule

speaking the lingo is very helpful though.

It doesn't actually list the item in the other country unless you make an auction there.

It depends on the category. If you are selling clothes, then you can only list in the uk when making a us auction...
