Linking by Facebook

This is NOT about using an app.... I know that apps are dangerous and request (and get) too many permissions on a device.

But while using Google Chrome on a desktop computer, do you think that having Facebook open on multiple Stealths (either the same time or different times) would have any way of linking? I know ads are influenced by where I visit, and that FB is nearly virus-like in the way they gather info from your device at least, but what is the consensus on it within a browser? I only have one FB account, and logging into it while I'm waiting for something to happen in an Ebay scenario while I'm online would be very handy. I couldn't find anything on this since 2010, which is 6 years ago, and I'm wondering what the feelings on this are.

Thanks!

eB and fb are not owned at all by the same party so you wouldn't be linkable via fb.

You don't think Facebook can be linked or detected somehow when open in the browser on a desktop?

So your scared Facebook is going to call Ebay and tell Ebay about your stealths? seems a bit confusing.....

No, I mean if I'm Mike Jones and log into my Facebook while also logged into Stealth #1, and then switch Window User ID's and log into Stealth #2, and also my Mike Jones Facebook, with all the tracking stuff Facebook puts out or uses, won't that somehow link the two Stealths?

I always thought that was risky at the very least...

Right but I still don't see how Ebay is going to link you via Facebook, Facebook doesn't snitch to Ebay if that's what you are thinking.

I think you are a bit paranoid.. but hey.. I use a laptop to work on my stealth accounts, and a desktop to visit other sites. incl Facebook..
They sit on the same desk.. that way all is safe as houses as they say..
