Is it possible to block competitor?

Hello. Is it possible somehow to block a competitor from viewing my assortment?

Surely they could use private browsing to find your listings, if you blocked them anyway?

It wouldn't matter because it can't be done.

The most you can do is block them from buying your item, if you know their IDs. Other than that, there's not much you can do.

No.

You can block them from bidding and buying, and that may be a good idea in some cases, but you can't block them from seeing the listings.

Re: Is it possible to block competitor?

Because I have one competitor who is checking my assortment daily. The problem is that once I find a profitable product to sell which can bring like 10-30USD per sale, after few days he will sell the same product with ~1USD profit. This account has very high limits but I guess I need to look for another stealth account :)

and another account will help because.... he won't see the new listings somehow?

This guy probably checks out all the items for sale in his selling categories, as all of us do.

Re: Is it possible to block competitor?

This reminds me when script use on bulk sites sold first resell rights. First copy was $3000-4000. By time I bought was $1600. I made that back in 2 days. Now 11 years later could get for few hundred and take years make money back. Script on 3 or 4th owner and each lowered prices so could make money. I could buy resell for less what just 1 site cost at first. I made few thousand sites for own use off resell most use sell I bought so could use for self after sold enough for resell cost. No profit as they under cut all ways cost site than monthly hosting. So now bulk people hosting in 3rd world were were in 1st world at first.
