Listings removed due to VERO rights, should I fight it?
 

(1) Listing was removed due to using "NATO Strap" to describe my watch strap. Apparently someone owns the rights to the term NATO, even though it's a generic type of strap. Funny thing is under item specifics for band type, you have to select one of the options and it lists Metal, Leather, Rubber, NATO Strap. So why is Ebay allowed to use NATO Strap under item specifics but doesn't allow sellers to use NATO strap in their title?

(2) Scam owner reported every item (except his own) as unauthentic. It's a beauty device retails $300+ and I have no use for it. When I listed it, it had 80+ other listings and sellers, when mines was removed, there was only 1 seller and 1 listing (which was the owners).
So this scumbag literally reported everyone's other listing as unauthentic, just so buyer's only option is to buy his at retail price.
My item is 100% authentic and I even bought it from the same seller and have receipts. Also, I used stock photos (same as the company) and info (same as the company). I even asked eBay it doesn't qualify to be removed, because how can you tell if something is ⊗⊗⊗⊗, if it's stock photos?

But it seems like eBay is trying to avoid 100% any legal issue and automatically removes any VERO rights complaints.

Vero fights are just a waste of time, especially if reported by another member, as noone to talk to. Ebay does not have time to analyze your particular item for being genuine. Create an army of stealth accounts and move on.

It may be a generic type strap to many.

But ever since James Bond wore one in Goldfinger, some smart cookie has the IP rights.

Confirm you were listing just one that had been for your personal use...
