Will selling in this manner keep me under the radar?
 

Hello folks. So I created this stealth account back in Nov 2016 with selling limits of 1K/25K. I've been selling these popular low-risk accessories and they sell pretty well. I'm listing and selling them consistently 5 times a day, they range from $10-$50.

My Selling Plan:

Month 1: Sell 5 a day
Month 2: Sell 5 a day
Month 3: Sell 5 a day
[90-day hold lifted]
Month 4: Sell 10 a day
Month 5: Sell 20 a day
Month 6: Sell 30 a day, (+10 a day every month, etc.) :typing:

Will selling in this manner keep me under the radar from eBay and PayPal's suspension?

I get paranoid because my previous accounts were suspended. I screwed up big time due to my lack of knowledge and I never knew about this forum until a few months ago. I used to sell like 3-5 MacBooks as a new seller making $2K per transactions. Obviously that raised a huge red flag for eBay lol. So far, this current stealth account has been operating smoothly due to the auction stealth and the help of this forum. Thank you.

A step up approach is always a good way. Are you running just 1 account?

Yes just 1 eBay and 1 PayPal account.

I would suggest creating and getting more accounts up and going slowly.

This way if you do get suspended you don't have to be in sh!t's creek without a paddle with nowhere to sell.

A lot depends on the items that you sell whether they are deemed high risk by Ebay

If you plan on selling Macbooks - I wouldn't sell one in the first few months. Its certainly of quite a substantial value, especially when you plan to shift 3 to 5 of them each time.

The best way would be to start by listing low risk, low value items, and work your way up.

So lets say list an item, it sells, get positive feedback.
Then list 2 items, it sells, get positive feedback from both.
Then list 4 items etc.

Basically doubling each time as you go along. This is the safest method, and is the best way to nurture accounts. Your building a rapport with eBay/PP as you go along which is most important.

Use several accounts, spread the risk. It will decrease any chance of you being suspended.

Yeah if you spread them out you can go from 5 items a day on one account to 15 items a day across 3 accounts. This way you sell more while spreading the risk at the same time. But, your gonna need stealth book first.

The concept of having backup stealth accounts on rotation is an excellent idea

i would not do more than 100 to 200$ a week the first month . if your ebay is fine your paypal might get limited.
