Couple of alerts and offer to become power seller
 

I have a warning on my account for vero and also one for item location misrep. (silly) and now I've received an email asking me to become a power seller.

On one hand it would be good to be allowed a couple more strikes if I was a power seller, on the other I'm worried joining will bring attention to my account.

Anyone have any experience/advice for a situation like this?

Its covered in the sealth guide. Just make sure you have a deliverable address attached to the account as they send out congrats cards

I just searched the book for powerseller but it doesn't cover this exact issue.

My opinion is you should except the offer. Most legit sellers want to be a PS and is a sign of accomplishment.

those invites to power seller status are automaticly sent. they have no idea about your memos until your flagged. then an actual body looks

I used to turn down those invites because I was afraid being a powerseller would expose me to higher IRS scrutiny. Well, I do my taxes anyway, and I'm sick & tired of preemptive selling limits and other nonsense like that. You can bet that I'll be accepting the very next invitation I get.

PowerSeller status is good for hits it can take and fee discount. Any money you don't have to pay EBAY is money in your pocket.

Does anyone know once you accept the power seller thing if someone actually does look or is it pretty much auto acceptance as well?
