Can you get linked by using eBay gift card code?

You can buy eBay gift card codes for 15 to upwards of up to $200.
I was wondering, if you pay for a Gift card code and have it sent to your email and then use it on another stealth account, will it be linked? Does eBay track the gift card code information? It would be nice to know if it's safe to use a code on another account without getting linked to the original account you bought it on. :typing:

I dont see any reason why they wouldnt be able to link you that way. And Im sure they track all these gift cards info to make sure no 'laundering' is going on.

Digital gift card codes essentially still belong to the account they were created from.
Amazon and Ebay and Paypal ABSOLUTELY TRACK THESE CODES. So if an amazon account saw lots of returns and now it has a balance but the user turned it into a digital gift card because it cant buy an actual gift card, you now own ALL THE TROUBLE associated with that account. It may be new to you but it still has a history.

Just to serve as an example and experience before I knew much of what I do, I used one account to buy gift cards for about 4 other accounts. Sure enough, long story short, ALL those accounts were linked and deleted.
