best way to pay large ebay fees using gift card
 

hi everyone,
today my ebay account got put on hold for non payment. strange last week they told me I owed $1300 and now this week it's $2400 and I must pay this amount to continue selling.

I usually pay with Vanilla gift card but the limit is $500 per card. Are there better ways of paying Ebay fees? I believe Ebay only takes 1 card a day so I would have to pay every day for 5 days if the total is $2400 ($500 per day on 1 card) which is risky and they might think is suspicious. I don't want to pay all these fees and after be suspended for suspicious payment activity..

i leave 10% of my money in PayPal and make one time payments every week or so keeping the balance at zero come billing time.

Entropay has quite generous limits per card - and if your account is verified, then those limits go even further.

Ive paid ebay fees using entropay in the UK a few months back. I cant say for sure if it works in eBay US though (for paying ebay fees).

I have used Entropay to pay for my US accounts - mind you they are quite a few years old

I don't have a Paypal account tied to this ebay account - I have a merchant account to take payment so Paypal won't be an option.

Is it risky to use vanilla gift card and pay $500 per day? I am looking into entropay just never used it before.

Also, do I create the entropay account using my real name, but how do I get a virtual card with the stealth details (stealth name, zip etc)? Sorry I looked around the forums but couldn't find this info..

I wouldn't worry about using different cards each day to pay down your fees- I think they are much less critical of this than say if you were receiving money, or buying like this. When it comes to having fees paid, I don't think there is that much to worry about since it's not an area where a lot of questionable stuff goes down, so I don't think it's scrutinized that hard.

I would, however, make the amounts 425.90, 492.16, and so on.... so it looks like you're paying it as you can, rather than 500, 500, 500, 500 which looks like there could be other reasons (say, for example, a human looked at your payments to evaluate them for some reason).

As long as the 5 days it will take to get it paid off is quick enough so you don't get a harder suspension, I wouldn't worry about the 5 different card issue. Not for paying down fees.

You can load $2,000 per card. Maybe try pay with a small amount to begin with. If it works, you could easily pay off the balance with 2 cards in 2 days.
