How do you rotate among Stealth accounts?
 

I'm curious what you guys strategy is about rotating listings amongst accounts?

Let's say hypothetically you are listing 200 items a week and you have 4 accounts (A,B,C,D)....

Do you list 200 items on Account A Week 1, 200 items Account B Week 2, etc.

Or do you list 40 items Account A Monday, 40 items Account B Tuesday, etc.

Or do you list 10 items on each account every day...

Or somehow mix it up differently? And what are your reasons for why you do it the way you do?

Was this asking a stupid question? Or was this asking for top secret strategy no one wants to give up? At least I didn't ask where you buy your stuffs!

Its a little naive to think that somebody has universal 1-2-3 strategy. It all depends on a huge number of different unique factors. Try to work with 10 accounts (at least, even with 5) PP+Ebay at the same time. I bet that your posting schedule will collapse on the 2nd day :)

Oh I know it won't be followed to to the letter, but just a general idea I'm looking for. I'm just phasing in my 2nd stealth account after I maxed out my 250 listings with my store subsrciption in January with the first one. Trying to balance the hassle of switching router to change IP addresses versus the benefit of having things go active in each account every day...

If I max out my 250 B-I-N listings this month on one account then list on other then I don't have to switch back and forth.... but then I go two weeks without listing anything on other account. I do all shipping through shipstation so only time I have to change IP addresses and log in to other account is to list things, dont have to log in to ship items.

If I switch back-and-forth and list on both accounts throughout the month then I'll have more activity on both accounts, perhaps that will help search ranking & sales. Or maybe that doesn't matter so much.

But I find myself logging in to both anyway to deal with messages so I guess doesn't matter, will list on both every day. Trying to avoid switching back and forth as much as possible though.

There are plenty of tools at your disposal that will help with such task. For example, VMWare works great when running a lot of accounts at the same time. VPN's + VMWare works great....and so on.

The whole switching around 10-20 accounts every day thing is wearing and leads to mistakes.

Instead of listing 250 items for two weeks, I list 125 items for 4 weeks, set up things to auto-relist, and keep an eye on things through Auctiva.

That way I don't have to go through a massive and expensive scheduling/listing process once a month on every account.

I only log on any particular account once or twice a month. Sometimes on the smaller accounts I only log on once every couple of months.

I can do pretty much everything I need to do through Auctiva without ever changing IP addresses or changing user accounts.

Most people use Bank Accounts.....but some people like to live on the wild side and do PayPal to PayPal transfers.

The thing about doing it this way is that it's not for a newbie, I would say that if you do go this route that it has to be planned out carefully and executed carefully. Certain things have to be in place in order to make it work.

People just assume that you just start sending funds over and over and nothing will happen, well PayPal isn't that dumb but that's not say you can't find a way to do things. Also, you better be sure you can get a PayPal reinstated after getting it limited, otherwise your going to be waiting for 180 days to get the money out.

You can attach a bank account if you want, but I just use the small accounts to purchase and pay for items I need, I let them accumulate to $3-4-500 then I send a payment directly to my supplier via PP.

PP to PP transfer repeatedly is going to get you burned.

Repeated transfers can cause issues - not worth the risk
