Does block zero fb buyer still exist?
 

I remember having this option.
Now i can't find it.

Anyone knows if this works?

Never heard of it, and certainly never seen the option in eBay settings.

Lots of legitimate buyers create an eBay account to purchase an item, so I don't usually sweat 0FB buyers.

Never existed, though lots of people swore up and down it did.

Are you sure? For some reason I remember using this feature back in the day (Like 2005-2012 days)... Maybe I'm just going crazy

I remember lots of seller saying they would cancel orders from zero feedback buyers in their listings. but I do not recall it being an actual option

I confirmed you could block 0 feedback and also -1 , -2 , -3 Feedback buyers as will with buyers non-payment strikes :typing:

You still can block buyers with strikes on their accounts for various reasons, but not buyers with no feedback. From a business perspective it makes no sense for eBay to allow sellers to block customers who are new to the platform. It would just piss off the customer if they realize they're blocked when they go to purchase something for the first time. Then the customer would go to Amazon.

You can't block zero feedback buyers.

You can only block buyers with a negative feedback rating. Given buyers cannot received negative feedback, it is a somewhat useless feature.

You can block buyers with x amount of unpaid strikes though which is at least a start.

It can be set up under Site Preferences - Buyer Requirements

I believe they did away with the feature back in 2010. Makes sense because as a buyer we all need to start somewhere. Also all the guest checkouts would never occur.

Blocking "buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them" is a limit on how many items they may purchase at from you within a fixed period of time, that can be based on their feedback total.

It is NOT a "block zero feedback buyers" option.

I merely said you can limit them to ONE item... read above...

I use this, because by the time the 10 days is up you will know if they will pay or not, and you would have closed your UPI case against them..
