eBay Feedback Question
 

:cheer: I have made my first sale and the item has arrived yesterday to my buyer.

What is the usual policy you, the more experienced sellers employ after the item has arrived:

1) Ask him if everything was ok and if he's happy?
2) Just keep quiet and let things be?
3) Ask him if he could leave you feedback if everything was ok?
4) Other strategy?

I am not really sure how to handle the after-sales part as I've never been faced with it:peace:

I usually insert a small note leaflet in the package with the item saying that for any problem I am available to help or if he is happy with the transaction, "a positive feedback is appreciated".

I usually do not ask for feedback via email/ebay message because sometime people get upset. I would let things be.

I guess since the item is sent without the leaflet, I should just let things be.

Some people put business cards in the shipping box with more info about themselves. Most people don't ask for feedback. Just providing exceptional service from start to finish usually earns feedback without asking.

Agreed, I seal the package with a label, I never ask for feedback or anything else. :)

i use automatic feedback system, i normally get about 30% of the buyers returning feedback.

could you please advise what system you're using? Is it paid?
I've got a new account, made 3 sales but got 0 feedback.

I never ask for feedbacks, and never leave feedbacks before get one myself, as if it would happen that a customer is unsatisfied somehow at the moment of interaction, he might get mad and leave me a neg.

I put a sticker on mine, and write " hope you love the jeans" ( or whatever the item is )
also if its near a holiday, I will also include " hope you have a happy new year
or something personal - your ebay name made me laugh!
