Buyer wants PayPal invoice for multiple items

I have a buyer who has made me offers via messaging that I have accepted for 10 items. They are asking for a PayPal invoice to pay for all items at once or will give me cc directly. Already gave me phone # - called it, got VM that matched her online profile, called me back later and seems totally legit. I have every reason to think the buyer is legit but I am questioning whether this violates Ebay/Policy policy and is there a way to combine the items for the buyer without putting me at risk? She isnt trying to avoid fees -- just wants one checkout instead of 10.

Why cant you just combine the 10 items via ebays system?

I'd love to but I dont know how and have not been able to find the instructions for doing so. Just to be clear - this buyer sent me a message (NOT an offer for all 10 items) saying Ill pay x for item a and x for item b etc. all the way through the 10 items. What does buyer need to do for me to be able to combine items?

Then they haven't been purchased, it's only an offer.

Create a custom listing containing the 10 items and combined price for all, detail it out in the listing description, and when they purchase you don't have to do anything else, they pay, you ship, no worries about off EB sales. :)

Is this just like a regular listing but includes all items or are we talking private auction or some other type of listing (sorry very new to this!) Thank you!!

Re: Buyer wants PayPal invoice for multiple items

I send at least 3 or 4 Paypal invoices daily for wholesale customers who contact me on eBay. Most of the time I offer a lower price if the buyer will agree to pay with Paypal, since I save 8% in fees.

Just checked my main account and I've sent 947 Paypal invoices. They don't care. As long as the eBay filters don't block your message, then they don't care and nothing bad is going to happen.

Just my $.02. I would invoice the customer as they requested.

I agree with phaz0rz on this one, I've sent many direct PP invoices to customers on this exact same request. Just take any discussion of the setting up of invoices off eBay messaging. I'd just communicate with the buyer via phone/email for the remainder of the discussion and delete any previous messages from the buyer just to be safe.

I've also done this, however, keep in mind that deleting the message from your EB inbox doesn't delete the message from EB's servers.
