Just sold digital CS GO knife on ebay and buyer asking for refund after getting item and disputing on this transaction was not valid.

I made video of sending item to his account. but 2 days and case is still in decision making by paypal.

any idea who will win this case?

I will lost my 200$ item if I lost this case.

Sorry to say you just gave away your knife there is no protection on your side one of the reasons virtual items are not allowed on ebay. You might of had a chance if you had mailed him a tracked envelope. Sorry.

Quickly get an envelope and print out a picture of the virtual code and mail it to him with a fast shipping service and add tracking... say sorry for late delivery but here is tracking

I used to trade a lot of CSGO skins, and honestly 90% of the people who are willing to buy skins for real money are scammers.

Next time, just sell it on opskins.com if you're wanting to cash out. eBay is a scam haven for skins.

it was my first time and I think ebay is good place to sell. but I have searched after this happens to me and its 50 50 chances for both seller and buyer on winning on digital items.

Look pal, I dont mean to be a d*ck but your quite fresh to the forums, calm down dont go around giving people like rsot sh*t, hes been here years and is a well respected forum member. It makes you look bad when you go around with a negative attitude and criticising every chance you get. Ive seen several threads where you have been the negative nelly.

People come here to get help. Sometimes that involves other people asking follow-up questions.

Parsierngue: You're acting like a troll. I don't see any help or useful info coming from you to answer Bibabacha's question.

Bibabacha: I'm sorry for your problem, you're 99% going to lose. EB HATES digital items, and for a long time they were banned.

And it's too late to send an envelope with tracking as somebody suggested, even if that did work they'd just reopen it as a SNAD case.

This kind of item is going to be a problem, and after you get a bunch of cases open against you, even if you win them all, which you won't, PP or EB will close you down for being high risk.

Find something else to sell is the best advice I think anyone can give you at this point.

Paypal isn't stupid. They know it's a virtual item and shipping an envelope won't do anyone any favors.

the case is still open and it might take 2 weeks to one month to paypal make decision.

I read on PayPal unauthorize decision making involves on if the buyer failed to secure his info (like email and password of PP) than PayPal don't comply with buyer case and seller wins.

I hope I have a chance.

the final decision by paypal has come and I have lost the case and my item is gone and money also... that's real bad but what can I say.

I dealt with few in-game items for RPG online games in early 2000 - I basically had to get ppl to pay outside paypal - help weed out the scammers but BiN4RY is right.
