Buying a UK eBay account worth it ?
 

Hi,

I've been doing business on eBay for some time now and I would like to expand to UK.

So my main question is should I buy a UK eBay / Paypal stealth accounts ? and is it worth it.

I know I can directly log in to ebay.co.uk from my US accounts and list things. But is it same as having a UK ebay account ? will my listings have the same visibility as other, from originally UK accounts ?

Does paypal have very bad currency conversion rates from euro and GBP to USD? If I have a UK paypal can I save more money from it ? I have a friend who could provide me a UK bank account if necessary.

I heard that in UK paypal, they would ask for the photo id as soon as it hits 3k. is it going to be a problem ?

Finally about the taxes,
How does the UK tax system work in general ? And specially how is it going to work if I use my USA paypal account.

Will I have to pay taxes in both UK and USA ? I'm sure I'll have to pay in US

Apart from these questions if you know any more things that I should know about before going into this UK venture, please point them out to me.

Make sure to have a decent UK proxy. I think someone sells them in the marketplace.

paypal keeps abt 2.5 to 3% on top of regular currency conversion rate.
