Stealth account, really???
 

Hi guys so newish to the forums, i have been suspended and what ever i say to ebay makes no difference!

What i would like to know is does a stealth account really work?? and its its a lot harder to run/setup then a normal one. can you just login in and out of your account on your phone or home wifi etc??

Second thing on a stealth account will you rank the same on the listings??

Sorry im really new at this so might sound stupid.

Its no harder to run really than a non stealth account, you just have to take 1 or 2 extra steps. They become second nature when running an account after a few weeks though

Welcome to the forum.

Stealth really works. It's not a lot harder but just more careful than a normal one. You can not login in and out freely on your computer or mobile. Those technic issue is the basic knowledge for you to run stealth accounts.

Please read the book first. Not read once, but many times.

Read the book and check out the forums,i read lots of old forum threads which were very useful in gaining knowledge.

eBay can shut down any account at anytime. That goes for both real and stealth accounts.

Run the account correctly though and on both real and stealth accounts can last for many years

So ive got the book and reading through, it seems like its going to be hard to check emails orders etc in they way you have to login?? i just use the app on my phone etc but sayd you cant use these??

Also can i use a bank account i alredy have? its never been linked to paypal or ebay but is in my name and same address as accounts that have been liked to paypal??

Its not really that much hard work. You just have to change 1 or 2 habits. Never using the APP is one of those habits. You can still use your phone though with the browser and check your emails on your phone.

You cannot reuse any bank account already used with PayPal before. You can use any bank account in your own details that has not been linked with PayPal before. Just avoid Lloyds :)

Ok thanks so even though the bank account is the same address and name as a closed ebay account thats ok, just as long as its not been link to paypal before, got it.

Are there any other platforms/ apps that you can use that link to your ebay account, so not loggin in direct?

Banks done share the name and the address with PayPal.

I would just stick to using the browser on the phone. So long as that is done correctly its 100% fine

True. I think doing so contributed to one of my stealth getting shot down in the past.
