| Conductor | 02-16-2017 04:40 PM | Debt collectors? Hello, what is it like for easter european people with debt collectors? do they come cause i'm in Lithuania and have £400 to pay in ebay fees also i can't do it by paypal because they say it does not support the currency,
I was just wondering if they would notice what address to send the debt collectors to? as I was changing the addresses very often from Lithuanian(My) to UK(Random) back to Lithuanian (different)
btw my ebay account is suspended currently. |

You can use a VCC without too much issue |
Re: Debt collectors? You will get emails from a debt collection agency, Arvato is one such company that works in E Europe. As far as something in the post well depends whether you are stealth or not.
Yes, best to pay off your fees, try to convert your currency into GBP |
Re: Debt collectors? You can use a gift card or vcc to pay the fees OP |

If you own money, pay it or they come for you. |

| RetroRedneck | 02-18-2017 05:29 PM | Re: Debt collectors? Not sure re Europe, but in the UK debts (civil/non court ones), are virtually unenforceable. Some people just ignore the calls/letters, but your ac will obviously end up toasted. |

In reality, just pay the fees- Even if its little by little.
With these things, you never want them to linger in the air for too long- Sooner or later they'll become an issue, so its easier and safer to just deal with it now. Even if "dealing with it" means paying it off step by step or in small chunks. |

WTFudge is your flag America-Samoa? You are no more from there than the man in the moon.
Correct your flag.

| hattmall | 08-06-2019 03:34 AM | Re: Debt collectors? Just don't get your accounts linked. Owing fees is the main thing eBay will close linked accounts over. |
| anna249 | 05-24-2020 03:30 PM | Re: Debt collectors? 3 years ago I made my Etsy show with few listing but did not sell or bought anything there. I was a student then and used my dads credit card. My friend showed me how to set google ads for my Etsy show. Later I forgot about my listing and ads when I noticed emails coming about payments. I ignored them and they suspended my account last year but weirdly a few weeks ago I received email -
Dear Diana Anna,
This is a friendly reminder that your Etsy bill was due on May 1. As of now your statement balance has not been fully paid.
Please note, if your total statement balance of EUR 1,181.62 is not paid in full by, your bill will become overdue. Overdue accounts will have shop privileges restricted, including the ability to create a new listing, renew a listing and purchase shipping labels.
Please make a payment by in order to avoid these restrictions.
I also received an invitation to change the card on file as it expired.
I don’t have that much money to pay and I don’t want to continue my show. I am okay with suspension and not using this platform in the future. I did not gain any sales. I am just afraid what do they do if I don’t respond to email and do not pay? My account is suspended but why do I receive bill still asking for payment?
Can I just ignore it and not pay and move on as I don’t want to continue running shop and I don’t have that much money to pay.
Please help. I would really appreciate that. |
