so is a aged account with high selling limits better and safer to sell on? what about changing the info on the account

Why do you need to change the info on the account? I wouldn't do so until you establish the account more and get some sales going.

Typically aged accounts are better than free ones but they all have the same risk.

you wouldnt be able to change the name on paypal, and usually it is better if it matches ebay.

no iam talking about for a ebay aged account...and can they detect a paypal that was banned if u change the email addy and the info in there iam not banned off PP and was thinking i could just use same account or create a new PP account as they told me i could make another paypal whatya think

Yes they will know if there is a banned pp being used in the past - and it causes risk on the new pp attached via linking

Huge impact on what? I only noticed that I have 'longtime seller' listed under my name... although my search placement is usually around the top 10% under 'best match'. The account is 17 years old (opened when I was 12)

What if a seller account is aged but had no selling history? Does it matter?

Kind of an old thread to unearth but for your question - an "aged" account with no selling history is not aged - it's actually considered as a "new" seller account
