Verifying acct
 

Twice now, in the last 2 months when posting I received a message from ebay saying " looks like you signed in from another computer - please confirm identity - we will send you an email "
I NEVER log into another computer, no one in my house does ebay but me.
I was able to get a pin to verify, but How can i prevent this from happening again?

Are you keeping your cookies in place or clearing them every time you log out?

If this is happening everytime - as rsot mentioned it may be your browser not saving cookies.

If this is happening irregularly - it may be a software on your machine i.e. CCleaner etc. that is automatically deleting your browsers data i.e. cookies/history.

Essentially something somewhere is deleting your traces.

Ah - Thank you, I did run the cc cleaner, i thought I had a virus.

Stop running CC Cleaner, it's super important to keep the cookies in place.

I normally dont run Cc cleaner I did to wipe whatever virus I may have had.
