Can VCC sold here be used as ebay backup payment method ?
 
This is probably a stupid question for most of you but can the VCC sold here be used as backup payment method on ebay ? When looking at them in the marketplace they always just say used to verify ebay and I just want to make sure and get this right the 1st time so I don't screw up my account as verifying an account could be taken differently than a backup payment method..
I was looking at the $8.00 vcc

They can be used in theory yes, the problem will be if eBay ever actually tries to charge the card it will fail as there wont be any funds on the VCC

I use vanilla visa's (pretty much the same thing as VCCs) as backup payment methods and then make sure I always pay my fees so eBay has no reason to try charging the card.

I used VCC here to add to eBay reimbursement without any problem. Straight up

Most people use a VCC to confirm the PayPal account. Not many people that I know of use them on the eBay directly.
