Ebay & Paypal info must match?
 

Hi all,

I'm new here. I just started my ebay dropshipping business 2 weeks ago.
Since I'm not allowed to do the business due to U.S laws, I'm using my cousin's Paypal account. But I'm selling on my ebay account.

These two accounts are linked and both verified. But they have totally different names and addresses.

I've been selling for 2 weeks and made some sales. With 3 positive feedbacks. No problem yet.

But I'm just worried to get into trouble since info don't match at all. I don't want any trouble when they review my account at the end of the month.

Is it a good idea to change my ebay personal info (including name, address) to match my cousin's Paypal info? Or should I just leave it like that?

Anyone has any advice or experience like this?

Traditionally, I think most people say that your PP and EB info must match.

I always be sure mine do.

I would guess it's going to be an issue at some point, but you've done it now, I can't say if changing it will get more attention than a mismatch, you're doing to have to make up your own mind. :(

As dallis said, most people say the info needs to match.

However, I have had PP accounts and EB account with different names and addresses and they have always been fine.

Usually they only make a fuss about it when they investigate both accounts, which if you stay under the radar, you should be fine. Basically, If you use different details I think you'll be fine, but it is entirely up to you.

Yes I used paypal and ebay with different details no issue

Used Paypal and Ebay with diefferent names, addresses and countries, no issues. However when I connected them, both accounts were over 2 years old, lots of transactions and 800+ feedback. For a new account it might not be the best idea, but it might work as well.

Have info matching if possible, if not i'm sure you can come up with a good excuse should they quiz you one day
