Reusing merchant accounts?
 

Hi everyone,
Recently my Paypal got limited. I was selling too quickly on a new account. They asked for SSN which I couldn't provide so now I am going with the merchant account route.

I have an old merchant account that is linked to a suspended Ebay account. Can I reuse this merchant account with a new ebay account that's good? Do I need a new API or Key? And if so is that something my merchant account provider can provide?

Also, I still have items for sale on Ebay right now. Since my Paypal is limited once the auction ends I won't be able to receive payment into Paypal, hence people can't pay me. Is there any way I can use my merchant account on an auction that is currently running? Or will I have to end all my auctions and restart using the merchant account?

New API and Key.. you can generate this via the Authorize.Net portal

Not that I know, but does ebay still using Authorize.net to accept payment via credit card ?

On authorize.net I can only obtain a NEW transaction key. The API key is the same and cannot be changed through the portal. Is it good enough to just get a new transaction key?? Or will I have to call in and also get new API key? Thank you
