Ebay linking to skype!!!!
 

I like skype . . . its a cool free tool to communicate with people all over the world but why is it that every time on visit an ebay auction now that I have installed in - ebay trys to link my SKYPE!!!!!

I get a message in ie asking me if I want ebay to link with skype - I click no and it doesn't stop

every single auction I click - DO YOU WANT TO LINK TO SKYPE - NO!!!

leave me alone already - I am completely no using ebay anymore too buy because of this - its crazy - most sellers dont even use syke - why do I need to link it too ebay - just another accept by feepay to spy on us

Not surprising at all. Eba y paid so much for Skype, and it has turned out to be a financial loser for them. They are linking to force you to use Skype and increase revenues....

I will link my Skype to Ebay only when it gets sold by ebay and they don't own it any more, and I know for sure that new company does not share my info with ebay.

There must be something in your Skype/Ebay settings yo can turn off/on so you stop getting those annoying Ebay messages.

I have heard talks of Google making a deal with ebay to purchase skype for use with their newest phone the andriod - It's gonna be an all data phone that uses wifi and the internet to make phonecalls too - like the G1 on steriods - That way a data plain will be the only plain you need for your phone - the voice will be optional I guess - Sound great I would buy that before I buy any skype services

Get a IPOD Touch 2nd Generation and download the SKYPE APP its Free. I have that and works Great and has no connection to ebay. If you use SKYPE that much then this is the best portable solution there is. (Plus All the Great Features of the Itouch) Only if I know a lot people who uses Skype then I would use it all the time.
