Bought a degital item and just got scammed
 

i bought a digital item from ebay and seller never gave the items to me and I opened a case that I didn't receive the item. Seller opened a case as well and ebay says he gave shipping information. I don't know how he gave this info if it's a digital item? and so it was closed favoring seller side.

How should i go about this case? Can I just return it as item not as described and provide tracking number? Are they envelopes mail that gives tracking number?

You have gone through eb - have you gone through PP? (Did you pay with paypal)

it was bought through ebay and ebay closed the case because apparently seller provided proof of delivery?

wtf?

this was supposed to be an ingame item and he never gave it to me

This forum has seen countless seller scammed out of their digital items by buyers who are scammers. It's unusual to see it the other way around. You should be able to find somebody at ebay or paypal willing to help you. May take a few calls to get somebody who is actually willing to help, so it depends on how much the item was and how you value your time.

I paid $200.00 plus for this item and seller said through email that he has multiple quantities so I purhased all of it

Should i just open another case and return as not as described and mail him an envelope with tracking?

Try a paypal case first, that would be my advice

Got case solved. Called Ebay and explained the situation and they issued me the refund.
