2 yrs old Ebay Stealth, Will Paypal ask SSN this year over 200 Transaction ?
 

I have 1,000/$25,000 Stealth US ebay Account 2 yrs old made in 2015.

I sold more than 100 ebay items and have 80+ Positive feedback... then back in 2015 Paypal ask for SSN which i dont have, So i left the account.

This year when i cheked the paypal, and wow paypal not asking for that SSN page after sigin. Now I am selling again in ebay.

I know after 100-150+ ebay sales again paypal may ask SSN thing.

My question is will paypal again ask SSN, as I am old seller in ebay now.

If yes, then how to get SSN ? anyone selling in forum ? I cant create SSN as I am frm India.

Yes, it will ask you SSN or EIN, its not related to age, its a tax requirement. You cant create a SSN the only thing you can do is register an LLC and get a EIN or just leave the account when it reaches close to 200 transactions or 20K processing and wait until next yea when it will reset again.

When it starts to ask you for the SSN, were you able to get the money out of it?

They will ask 100% as soon as you pass the 200 transaction sales or $20,000 in money gain.

Not only this, but they will ask you for this info when you're getting close, or even when it becomes obvious that at your current rate you may reach that by the end of the year.

Also, I learned the hard way that even if you refund a few large purchases over the course of the year (people change their mind, out of stock, whatever) those amounts STILL count towards your annual transactions amount.

How hard is it to make multiple accounts? Why do people keep asking a question that should be obvious...

As one user put it, "I only need 1 good account".......I then proceeded to laugh my ass off. Some people also consider running multiple accounts, "hard" or "too much work".

To answer your first question, yes, you will need to provide the info, or as somebody else said, upgrade to a business account and use and EIN.

They'll usually lock the account down in just a few days, so get your money out now.

your from India. your selling on eBay USA. how you get the money from pay pal. do you have US bank account. is your all money from pay pal going to USA bank or you have Indian banks. i am little confused. just clear this doubt i will tell you what to do?
