Is there any way to keep a stealth account that gets the 200 items and 20k email?

Ye.
Add an EIN. That of course means youll start paying taxes.
Another solution is to leave the account until next year and selling on other accounts - spreading your sales.
Quite a few threads discuss this issue so do your research.

Also, don't sell up to the 200/$20K, spread sales across multiple accounts.

Just to add on to the convo - you should be paying taxes on your profits regardless of whether or not you have a tax ID on file with Paypal. I understand most who use stealth accounts don't report their income, but that's money laundering and can get you in huge trouble if you're ever investigated. :thumb:

@OP - Like the others have said, it's an annual limit so the account will reset next year if you don't give a tax ID.

Reaching annual limit on Paypal is hard without them asking for limiting/asking for SSN.

Actually that would be considered tax evasion - not money laundering.

If I got a email from paypal asking for ssn, will they limit my account(freeze my money)?

If I wait until next year, will the limit gone?

Pay that taxes, always. :thumb:

As for the account you will have to stop selling on that account and wait until next year or give the EIN and keep selling.

You should be spreading out your sales with more than one account.

they do not hold funds for a tax limitation.
