Ebay revision glitch
 

Hey guys, I noticed there's a substantial amount of buyers who are having a problem revising their negative feedback.

I would say about 30-35% of people who agree to revise their negative feedback message me telling me they can't because eBay is giving them an error. One buyer sent me a picture of the error they are getting which says:
"We're sorry, the item can't be displayed."

Anybody have similar issues when buyers try to revise feedback, and any idea what I can tell them to resolve this issue? Thanks!

I got that once in the last week of Feb 2017. (a month ago at the time of writing this). I just assumed the buyer was just trying to get out of our deal of refund and feedback removal, out of spite. So now that I see this, maybe he really did get an error message.

What really annoys me is that a glitch like this can exist for months or longer, but if there is something wrong with the site where Fleabay doesn't collect fees or something, it's fixed within minutes. Same thing as when I call in and I need help with my listing or a selling problem I'm stuck helping someone in the Phillipines practice their english for 45 minutes, but when I call in about my seller fee payment won't go through, I get someone in the US who is there to help solve a problem.

This feedback removal issue is HUGE, because not only is our seller record priceless, but usually by the time someone agrees to remove a feedback, we the seller already bent over backwards and got extorted out the butt to get them to the point where they agreed to remove it.

it happend to me once...send the buyer a feedback revision, claimed there was an error...so i called ebay and told them....they told me that all i needed was for the buyer to send me a message claiming they wanted to chage the feedback and there was an error....so i did...called them back and they checked the message and revised the feedback.

Yep I tried at least a dozen times the last 6 weeks to revise FB for something I purchased and can not get it accomplished. And yes the glitches last for months and months. PP too!

Make sure ask buyer to revise on pc or laptop as this does not work on mobile

Another solution ask buyer to confrim through ebay messge he gives permission to remove feedback

Yes asking them to use desktop has fixed this some of the time. Not all the time though, it is very annoying
