prepaid card for verification im almost there
 

Hi guys,

Im almost there with my paypal stealth (muahaha)

the only thing is, my prepaid card is on the way for verification.

but just remembered can i use a debit card of my mates just for verification,
she has never used her savings debit card details in paypal but she is a suspended user on paypal with her other cards.

If im correct from reading the stealth they cannot verify the name with the bank account.

but just wanted to double check. :dance:

Sounds like you are confusing card details with bank accounts.

A debit / credit card consists of a 16 digit card number, expiry date and CVV. These are used to confirm the address.

A UK bank account consists of 8 digit account number and 6 digit sort code. A bank account verifies the Paypal account.

In either case, Paypal cannot see the real name.

You would not be able to add your friends debit card to your Paypal as the AVS check would fail.

You COULD add your friends bank account to your Paypal to verify but you would be best to have a little patience and wait for your own account details to come through.

I see, both need to match, the paypal address and the pre paid card in order for AVS to go through.

In that case i have put in the wrong paypal address which i dont have access too in order to receive the prepaid card which i haven't ordered yet

Can i ring paypal and say i have put the wrong address in?

if not i guess ive screwed up that paypal.
