What forms of payment can you accept nowadays besides Paypal?

Pretty basic question -- what forms of payment can I accept nowadays besides Paypal? I know Money Orders are now "unsafe". Google Checkout is apparently "unsafe" too. Can you still accept Personal Checks? I'm thinking of opening a new account and NOT accepting Paypal and seeing how it goes. THANKS!

Thats just not possible "legally" on the ebay side to not accept paypal... at least without merchant approval

I used google checkout and never had any problems... You just cant note in your auction that you are using it....

A few others use ccnow.. i havent seen any solid info on paymate and money bookers so im not sure about those
