Changing mobile number - risks?
 

Evening All

Thanks to the fantastic help on here I have managed to maintain a few stealth EB/PP accounts for low volume selling the last 5 years relatively unscathed so far.

Unfortunately I have let a couple of the mobile numbers linked to the accounts run out of their SIM-only contracts and need to change the phone number on file with the aforementioned organizations, in case they try to call for a nice chat.

Of course this is normally a 2 second job but nothing in stealth world is without risk...so it would be great and I would most appreciate if someone could please advise if this is a relatively straight forward procedure or is there any specific procedures or hurdles I need to be prepared for? Also it recommended if updating the phone number on EB to do the corresponding one on PP?

I am fearful of 'rocking the boat' as I try not to tinker with the accounts once they are set up!

You can change the number, thats fine.

Remember to change the number for eBay, PayPal and your respective email provider (dont forget any of them out).

They don't need to be the same number for all, but it does help keep things organised.

If you feel you cannot keep up with keeping the SIMs active, you can purchase a number from www.soho66.co.uk and pay a monthly fee.
