Does eBay check the location of my tracking number ??
 
Assuming my eBay and PayPal account address is in California but i ship my items from New York, will that raise a red flag ??

When you ship an item and track it, it will show "Item scanned at Brooklyn NY, "Item left Brooklyn USPS facility" what do you guys think ??

Never had a problem with eBay.

Although I have had a buyer buy an item from me ONCE and complain that he thought the item would be shipped only 100 miles away from my eBay account location but was rather shipped states away. It still arrived in the stated shipping time so didn't cause any issues with eBay

You can always put the location of the item as Brooklyn, NY.

They never check the shipping information. I had several stealth accounts all with different address across US and I use one shipstation account and I ship all my items from NY. I never had a problem.

Been doing this for years. They never worry about ship out destination. If they question it, just claim it is the warehouse location. Drop shipping is allowed under ebay rules, but only as a seller.
