Return address Can it and Will it be linked???
 

Ok so I have a few stealths get returns everynow again.

For every return I use the same address BUT I use a different name everytime

for example:

Original Address is:

Salads Box 999
202 Donald Trump Dr
Retard NY 33920


SO: for my returns on stealths I do

S.ala.ds b999
202 Donald Trump Dr
Retard NY 33920

OR

Salads Inc Box 999
202 Donald Trump Dr
Retard NY 33920

so can these still be linked?

please let me know if im safe because iv done this to about 3 or 4 accounts now LOL...hope they dont get burned.....

No one can say for sure. Maybe it works for now but some day in the future they change their algorithm and they will know the address are the same.

I would suggest do not put your return address on file with eBay and create shipping label with eBay. Create the return label with a third party, say ShipStation and upload the shipping label to eBay. I do not think ebay will check each pdf and try to extract info from it.

Agree with dude above. It won't link you currently but it's better to avoid the risk and process returns outside of eBay. I take it a step further than Zach, and send customers return shipping labels from the stamps.com software via email. That way eBay never sees the return label or address. The stamps.com software won't allow you to print to PDF like shipstation will but in my opinion it's easier to just email the shipping label anyway.

BTW it's crazy how your return address is in my hometown of Retard, NY!

If you use SS actually EB/PP only will know your tracking number, no address. I agree with Phaz0rz, use SS as well for returns and send me from there the return pre-paid label so you will be able to use always the same return address. Once again, on the return request just input your tracking and thats it. EB will never know where the address is going to.

Yeah if it gets flagged by a bot and they manually look at it they can link. Don't ask me how I know

First of all its a risky task you should not applied it. Maybe it can work but since i said its risky they can check/confirm the address in future for their security

I think you are on the right track.

If I were you, I'd modify the address even more so that it barely resembles the original.

Ever thought of getting a PO box?
