Good till canceled listing Not renwed

Good 'Til Cancelled Item(s) Not Renewed

Listing(s) not renewed due to one or more missing required product identifiers (UPC, Brand, MPN, etc.)

This is the email I received when one of my listings was taken down. If I go back and just choose "does not apply", will that work? Or do I actually need to get UPC codes. I know it is easy to do, but all my listings do not have them. Do you guys add them to all your listings?

I just put does not apply and they go through fine.

I beg to differ.

The majority of our listings have "does not apply" in the UPC field. Even items in retail packages which actually do have a UPC. It's been about 1.5 years since eBay made the UPC field mandatory and I haven't had a single issue yet.

OP - Putting "does not apply" will work fine. If the item you're selling actually has a UPC you would do better (in terms of search visibility) putting the UPC rather than leaving it out.

That was the point of me saying " for now". Nothing you've said counters my point.
