Seriously right now, you need to shut your mouth newb. My response was relevant to the conversation at hand. That's more than enough, to not need to hear anything out of you.

Yeah, you're right. In person, you probably wouldn't have started what you started in the first place. Or would you like to ask again, how when ebay does evaluations?

If you are below standard all of your items go way below the search results

That is a statement not a question, but..

Yes. I believe so.

And from the point of EB, who should they give the best spots, somebody who follows all the rules and is at 100%, or somebody who is 'below standard'?

I didn't even notice a difference once I got back up and running on the new account/device.

No real advice other than determine if its possible to recover. If its not.. spend that time gettng on a new account. You are allowed to have two accounts anyway... so you're not breaking any rules.. and if you follow the techniques of the forum you wont get linked.

An eBay CSR actually told me "do you have another account you can use, or maybe a family or friends account?" I asked her won't I get linked... and she said probably not. I made a few mistakes, and I was still never linked.. I believe they look at below standard sellers much ore leniently than suspended or banned users.

edit: I also had 3 in a year, but my number of sales wouldn't allow me to recover from that. I'd have to sell 470 items a month when my average was 60/month.... as every month those 60 would fall off, and I'd have to sell those 60, plus another 410 to recover.

So just to confirm. Your account was 'below standard' and they didn't ban it?

I've been hearing a lot of mixed opinions on this subject to be honest. If you didn't get banned and your defects eventually fell off then your proof that ebay don't permanently suspend for being mildly below standard...

ebay stopped suspending below standard account a long time ago. They realized they can just charge you more money, for less sales, and if you didn't like it, you'd just leave anyways.
