How to Top Rated without tracking?
 

On my accounts I always can be Top Rated Seller in all the regions, except for USA because they require tracking number, and I often send my items without any tracking number.

Any way to go around this, and be a TRS for USA region even without tracking number?

If they require tracking then there isn't a way around it other than to input the tracking

I think I already seen some chineses sellers putting some random numbers as tracking. Does this work?
So what about people who sell digital items? Or people who work with very cheap items that don't make profit enough to pay for a registered shipping? They just can't be Top Rated?

My understanding is when they changed the seller standards in 2016, it became possible for a seller to become top rated while shipping without tracking. It seems like it would be very difficult though because at least 97% of your buyers would have to say the shipment arrived "on time" when they leave feedback. Most buyers don't even leave feedback so that would be a really hard metric to meet without tracking. When you ship with tracking you meet that metric when your tracking number confirms the shipment was delivered within the time eBay estimated for the customer.

It's possible though. This is taken from seller dashboard:
"If you ship on time and upload validated tracking or your buyers tell us the shipment was on time when they leave feedback, you're all set."

As if was new, people here doing other things without following the requeriments. :)

Ok, seems like it's impossible.. way more than that % of buyers will not leave feedback anyway.

Maybe they only count customers who leave feedback towards the metric.

so you want to have an ebay account, while completely going against ebay policy, without using your real name, real address, or any other real information? Sounds legit.

Half the people on this forum probably bought a stealth account from this forum. So lets not go on claiming any of this is even remotely legit, or even remotely ok with ebay.

EB could wipe out every one of us overnight if they wanted to. They know darn well we're here.

And as long as we do the right thing and keep the customers happy they're fine with us.

Start making up tracking numbers and doing other stupid stuff and see how long it lasts before they shut you down.

And the short answer is no, you'll never get TRS without tracking. For all kinds of reasons.
