What to do now?
 

Paypal have limited my account, the YOU CAN'T USE PAYPAL ANYMORE message X days ago and they are not replying to my email asking why.

Others have said now to forget about linking a new paypal to existing ebay as it would only get pulled in no time...

I have considerable time invested in the ebay and since X days have mist countless offers because if I had accepted them I would not be able to access any money whatsoever.

Now I have X orders that need posting out but I can't access the money to post them, plus ebay fees...

My thinking is to just turn the lights out and switch it all off?

What are people's thoughts on this?

Unfortunately it's time to move on. Don't do any further business on the account and wait for them to allow you to get your money out (180 day wait).

And just accept that those orders will be either reimbursed through ebay or my old paypal?

Is there a way to shut it down or just not to log in any more?

Also there's no links they can get to my mobile phone is there? As I used my primary phone for ebay purposes.

If the PayPal is limited permanently why bother shipping the items? Best to move on to a new account and list the items there.

No, there's no on/off switch or shutdown button anywhere. In theory you have been given the boot, no need to do anything.

Ahmmm No......they can't get into your phone....then again I'm not 100% sure what your asking.

Cheers for reply. I'm asking if I set up Ebay on my new phone, we'll do not all on a pc but download the app, can they trace any sort of IP address or phone code and know it's me again? If that makes W sense.

IF.....IF you are going to use the Ebay App you should do it on a phone that has never been used with the App. I personally don't recommend using the App but to each their own.

Really? Is this a known thing to avoid or just personal preference?

Tbf I do need a new phone asap, just weather I can afford one that I want right now?

But is it really that important to avoid using same phone?

The reason we tell people NOT to use the same phone + app with multiple accounts is because the phone records way too many things that can link accounts.

Hi well I will only have 1 account only, not multiple...

My old one will die out or whatever happens to it. I am only using 1 ebay and paypal account.??

When I say multiple accounts I mean old accounts, new accounts, etc.....but if you use a new phone and that phone has not had the app installed you should be fine.

Only got one phone for now, but need a new one asap, maybe hold back from installing the app for now.

Can I ask your thoughts on VPN.

I have a static IP address that changes every 5 days or so, I would rather not use a VPN as it costs more and if I don't make payment one month I will be stuck back to normal IP anyway?

I have everything ready to set up now just need to confirm I don't need to get a VPN.?

Well, waiting 5 days to get a new IP is not exactly what I would want. VPN's are not that expensive.....I don't know what you sell but you should be making enough to cover the cost of a VPN or whatever you use.

But surly once a new IP has been changed that's that? No need to worry that IP will be detected?

You may want to invest in the stealth book or invest some time reading around the forum. That will give you the answer to the questions you're asking and a grasp of the basics :)

Hi have got the stealth pdf however it is from 2013 and I'd assume that not much was different?

I have all the things in place now it's just this IP and VPN issue which as I can see form reading the rest of the site has a lot of people also.

It seems most people are using VPN if they have more than 1 account running, I only want 1 account. Though perhaps I am missing the boat here?

Not sure I can get 10 bank accounts and 10 numbers / phones on the go?

I don't use a commercial VPN. Those are a little risky. However I did subscribe to Aspkin's IP service. You may want to try that or a hotspot.

Also... I haven't used his service long enough so I can't say if it's 100% solid but he's the forum owner. I doubt he'd steer you wrong. He has a rep to uphold.

So yo think VPNs are risky? There's so many different opinions going around??

If I wanted more than 1 account on my computer what would be safer than VPN?

It's just hard to know which IPs are banned from a VPN. Other users use them too.

Dial up, cellphone tether, auctiva, hotspot

Well my last stealth was on my current IP address and that seemed fine? And it's static also so changes every 5 days or so?

I only plan to have one account but now thinking possibly build a few up.

So would a VPN definitely be required for multiple accounts?

And if I just wanted one for now would my normal IP be ok?
