I've made 15 successful accounts in the last 18 months.
Yesterday I went to list my first item on a new account I had aged 28 days before listing an item.
When I clicked list item I received this error message: Before you can list this item we need some additional information to create a seller's account
After a few hours of google research with no correct answer I tried some trial and error.
SOLVED: I was using the advanced listing tool. I switched back to basic.
I was trying to list the item "good to cancel". I switched it to 30 day listing. I was trying to list the item as a private listing. I unchecked that option as well. I was trying to schedule the listing to start at 7pm PST. I changed that to list immediately.
Problem solved and seller account was created with a 10/1000 limit.
I searched here and couldn't find the error message. Now someone else will WITH possible solutions.
