buyer with 0 feedback and strange name contains numbers
 

Hi to everybody,

I first time see a buyer named "Re** Alejan*** gua 77694 Cham*** Lim*" (his full name is cencored by asterix)

He has no feedback on ebay at all and his residence is U.S.

He is insisting on his name that this name is correct and number is correct as well and part of the name as sort of identification number. His name on ebay and paypal matches with eachother but as i said i first time see such name with number, so i considering if it can be sort of scam ? His user id has different name and sounds like American name but the name used for shipping address is as above one and the name on PayPal also is same with the one he declared for the shipping address.

Has anybody ran into the same or similar situation before ?

US names do not include numbers, this might be a scam. Is his address also weird looking?

It looks like fine when i search for it on google maps. But this name makes me suspicious. I contacted with eBay agent and they said to me that i have to ship but i somehow feel as if something wrong since he bought 10x same item and with such a name..

If PayPal was on my own name then it would be no problem even if this was a fraud but when it is also on someone else name, i am not sure how protection will work...

His name has asterisks or his user ID has them? Did you put them there?

If it's the user ID that's okay.

Google shows the address belongs to CPS logistical services, an export company, and the link to their facebook page is below: ( offsite link )

The place is not a residence. However, there used to be an exporter on EB called 'Air Express', or some such, and they'd order things for customers and export and they were legit.

No, i put the asterisks on his name for his privacy. His user id is fine but full name such with numbers included.

I somehow think that this address is not belongs to him. Do you think i should ship items to this address or i better cancel the order ? I can't find a reason why someone can do such a thing, only i am thinking one of the competitor might do this with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account.

The address and exporter company location might indicate that it will forward the package to a buyer - or maybe dropshipping. If the paypal is verified and you are protected, might as well ship.

Looks dodgy as hell off a new account! Especially if the goods are then getting sent or transferred to Central or South America!

Many of my buyers use that address. It is a shipping forwarder in florida

Also, paypal now allow customers to purchase on ebay with having an account, all they need is their credit card. Because of this, there are many "no names" and "no feedback" customers purchasing nowadays. Never had a problem with any of them.

I would ship too. Make sure you have tracking uploaded in both ebay and paypal though.

But all joking aside, he's probably international buyer, and the address is for the middle man company. Hence, the ID number, so that the company knows who the item will be shipped to once it reached the warehouse. I've done these deals before. Never had an issue.

I have had buyers from that exact address. It is a shipping forwarder. They get the package and then ship it to their customer who is usually overseas. The good thing is that you are 100% covered. As long as you send to that exact address

Not Chamoro but Champet.

Sounds like he really used sort of forwarding service in U.S. to get the goods through them. We will see.

you mean, 100% covered as far as delivery. Not going to help with any other aspect of the transaction tho.

nope 100% covered for all. I have had this twice before. Someone claimed they got something broken. I called ebay and told them the address and pointed out that it was a shipping facility and how they forward the item after they receive it. both times they closed the case in my favor. My job is to get it to that address which I did. If they then have someone else sending it to them I cant be held responsible anymore. Like I said this has happened to me twice and I've won both. One was a SNAD which is usually open and shut for buyers
