All of my ebay accounts are suspended
 

I'm an experienced stealth seller. I had over 25 accounts on ebay and was selling on most of the accounts for more than a year. I had new accounts also that were only about 3 months old. I created most of these accounts and can assure you that it was not a problem with the creation of them.

My accounts were all on vps. I used two different computers to log into the vps. One in the united states another one out of the country. I've had some accounts banned from time to time but never all of them at once. On two different occasions I had about four accounts banned at one time.

The paypal accounts were not banned as of yet on any of the accounts. This is only a problem with ebay. I'm not selling any vero items. I'm not selling any potential risky items.

Please help me figure out the possible issue.

Could it be that the mac address on the computers is being tracked even through the vps? :juggle:

Or could it be that since I'm only selling a certain tech brand that they see it as risky and banned all of my accounts? However, I had one account banned that I haven't posted an item in over three months.

The latter makes me believe that it has to do with the ip address, mac address etc.

Ebay, PayPal cannot see your MAC Address.

Most likely your VPS did you in. A lot of VPS's are overly abused.

Would be the case if you were selling VERO really - and since you weren't then its very unlikely.

Also MM78 raises a good point - how were you cashing out?

I was transferring payments between some of my accounts but accounts that I never used to transfer money were also banned. This happened today by the way.

I was using the same vps provider for all my accounts. However, my ip adddress were not all sequential.

If his paypal wasn't banned, as his OP mentioned, then transferring money clearly wasn't the problem.

Well, you did something that linked you.

You were using two computers. What about this - Is it possible that one computer was logged into one account and left active, and then you used the second computer to log into a different account at the same time?

That would create a cross link... if it happened even once or twice a month over time it would link everything together.

Whilst IPs are not sequential, have you checked if the IPs fall under the same "range"? If so that could have possibly caused it too.

I get the feeling you cut a lot of corners, and that has all added up to this catastrophe.

You should read the stealth guide and follow it to the T next time round. If your not selling anything you shouldn't, you shouldn't be losing the ebay accounts in the first place. Something is just not adding up.

Perhaps paste your eBay suspension email here (removing any personal information of course) so it will help identify what their reasons were for suspending you, and we could go from there.

Domino effect from my experience. You can usually get away with linking and VPS or VPN if the accounts are kept in good standard. If something comes up shady they take them all down. It really sucks.

Are VPS over? I've had all my accounts banned from ebay. I called paypal because I was having an issue with deleting a bank account and the representative said there is a security block because you are using a vps.

Can it be that ebay and paypal can now see who uses a vps?

How can I stop them from seeing that I'm using a vps if they can?

It's probably the network the VPS are located. It could be bad IP ranges.

VPS are fine, it's the network that matters.

Yes, thats what she said. She said VPN. So what does that mean for the VPS company that I used to log into ebay?

How did they find out it was a VPN in the first place?
